About this project

What does Vanilla Clans add?

Vanilla Clans

Clans, custom banners, shared storage, and a clean interface for your Fabric server.

Features

  • One clan menu: open /clan to browse clans, create your own, manage members and check your inbox.
  • Custom banners: use a crafted Minecraft banner, keep its pattern, and choose from 12 silhouettes. Banner icons appear in chat and the player list with the client mod.
  • Clan colors and chat: colored names, clan labels, role colors, and a private /cc channel. Your own clan's ranks appear in Tab.
  • Custom roles: edit names, colors, rank and permissions, including default roles. Members can only create or manage roles below their own rank; the owner stays above all other roles.
  • Invitations and join requests: persistent inbox, clickable accept/decline messages, and player-name suggestions with heads.
  • Shared clan chest: every member can store and collect items with /clan chest or the chest icon. Uses Minecraft's normal chest interface.
  • Leadership succession: when the chief leaves, leadership passes to the highest-ranked remaining member, then the longest-serving member on a tie.
  • English and German: follows your Minecraft language. German variants use German; all other languages use English. Custom names are preserved.

Installation

Requires Minecraft Java 26.2, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer, Fabric API 0.160.0+26.2 or newer for Minecraft 26.2, and Java 25 or newer.

Install Vanilla Clans and Fabric API on the server. The client mod is optional: players without it use commands and clickable chat menus. Install the same mod and Fabric API on the client for the custom UI and banner icons.

Upgrading from NRW Attack Clans? Replace the old JAR. The internal ID and world data paths are unchanged, so existing clans and shared chests carry over. Back up your world before updating, and do not install both versions together.

Commands

  • /clan - clan menu
  • /cc <message> - clan chat
  • /clan chest - shared clan chest
  • /clan text - command-based menu

Normal clan commands do not require OP. Mock commands are disabled in the release.
