About this project
What does TaCZCSBot add?
TACZ CS Bot brings Counter-Strike-inspired AI battles to Minecraft using TACZ (Timeless and Classics Zero) weapons. Create red and blue teams of bots with player-style models, randomized names, and custom skins. Bots use TACZ’s native weapon handling, including drawing, aiming, shooting, reloading, and projectile ballistics — no CustomNPCs or KubeJS required.
Features:
- 🤖 AI teammates and opponents — a default limit of 40 bots, with player-style models, randomized names, and custom skin support.
- 🔫 Native TACZ integration — bots use TACZ weapons and switch between firearms and melee during combat.
- 🎯 Three playable modes:
- Practice — configure bots, teams, and movement settings for training.
- Team Deathmatch — configurable kill targets, respawns, and a 30-minute match limit. When time expires, the higher-scoring team wins; equal scores result in a draw.
- Demolition — bomb planting, defusing, round-based scoring, and spectating after death. The opening round is a pistol round, allowing pistols and melee weapons only. Red remains the attacking team and blue the defending team throughout the match; automatic side switching is not enabled.
- 🗺️ Multiple saved maps — manage map-specific spawn points, bomb sites, and map cover images.
- ⚙️ Configurable combat settings — five difficulty levels, target detection range, and selectable weapon categories: pistols, SMGs, rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, machine guns, and heavy weapons.
- 🎒 Saved player loadouts — configure primary, secondary, and melee weapons, with specific or randomized selections. Pistol rounds temporarily skip the primary weapon without changing your saved preset.
- 🛡️ Team-colored iron armor trims — redstone-red trims for red and lapis-blue trims for blue, applied to equipped iron armor on bots and players.
- 🎮 In-game management interface — select modes, manage maps, prepare teams, configure equipment, and view match statistics.
- 🔊 Built-in CS 1.6 sound effects — configurable playback and volume; no separate sound resource pack is required.
- ⚡ Performance-conscious AI and rendering — staggered target checks, cached navigation decisions, and adjustable rendering distance for bot-held weapon models.
Requirements:
Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.20, and TACZ 1.1.8-hotfix. Other TACZ versions are not guaranteed to be compatible.
