TaCZ Reforged

TaCZ Reforged is an unofficial port of Timeless and Classics Guns: Zero (TACZ) to Minecraft 26.2, with a build for each of Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge and Forge. It is based on the original Forge 1.20.1 mod and on the Fabric-only 26.2 port TaCZ Refabricated.

TACZ adds modern and classic firearms with attachments, ammunition, gun packs and a gun smith table.

This port is not affiliated with or supported by the TACZ, TaCZ Refabricated or LRTactical authors. Please don't report problems with it to them.

Features

• Guns, attachments and ammunition, all defined by gun packs
• Gun smith table for crafting guns, ammo and attachments
• Aiming down sights, fire modes, reloading, inspecting, melee, crawling and refitting guns with attachments
• Gun packs made for TACZ 1.1.8 keep working
• Built in on every loader:
  • LRTactical: grenades, flashbangs, smoke, gas, sticky and splash grenades, C4 with a detonator, melee weapons and consumables, all defined by gun packs
  • TacZ Mesh Loader: gun packs can use high-poly mesh models
  • Scope picture-in-picture (off by default): a scope can redraw the world through its lens at its magnification

All loaders need Java 25. Download the file for your loader; each one bundles the libraries it needs.

Configuration

• config/tacz-common.toml, config/tacz-client.toml and config/tacz-pre.toml
• <world>/serverconfig/tacz-server.toml, sent to clients when they join a server
• In game: /tacz config, or the config screen when Cloth Config is installed

Known issues

• Cloth Config has no Forge build for 26.2, so on Forge use /tacz config or the config files.
• LRTactical melee weapons look and swing like vanilla items unless a gun pack provides their models and animations.
• Don't install standalone LRTactical or TacZ Mesh Loader alongside this mod; they are already included.
