What does Ape Escape add?
Relive the PS2 era and bring the world of Ape Escape into Minecraft.
Pipo Monkeys are loose across the Minecraft world. Track them down, stun them, and capture them using gadgets inspired by the classic Ape Escape games.
Complete missions, collect Monkey Shorts, unlock new gadgets and abilities, and progress through the mod while exploring normal Minecraft survival. Even more epic with friends.

Gadgets

Gadgets are used for capturing monkeys, movement, combat, exploration, and interacting with the Minecraft world.
- Monkey Net – Capture stunned monkeys
- Stun Club – Stun monkeys for capture
- Water Net – Capture monkeys and fish underwater
- Slingback Shooter – Fire stun pellets, rockets, and ricocheting ammo
- Bananarang – Lure monkeys and jump on it to go higher
- Magic Punch – Stun enemies and smash blocks
- Electro Magnet – Detect ores, pull toward metal, redirect projectiles, and pull gear from enemies
- Monkey Radar – Track nearby monkeys
- Sky Flyer – Lifts you into the air
- Super Hoop – Dash across the world at high speed and knock into mobs/monkeys.
- Water Cannon – Spray water, extinguish fires, destroy banana peels.
Some gadgets can also be upgraded with custom enchantments.
Missions & Progression
The Lab Console is the main hub for missions and progression.
Bronze, Silver, and Gold missions include capture challenges, timed missions, biome objectives, gadget challenges, capture combos, and other objectives.
Completing missions increases your Protagonist Level, unlocking new rewards and shop items.

Monkey Shorts & Casi
Captured monkeys drop different colored Monkey Shorts, which can be traded with Casi for gadgets, ammo, crafting materials, cosmetics, and other rewards.
Pipo Circuits are also used to craft many of the more advanced gadgets.
Pipotchi
Later in progression, you can unlock Pipotchi, a companion that follows you and provides additional exploration and utility abilities.

Balloons
Balloons can appear throughout the Overworld carrying monkeys or loot barrels containing ammo, Shorts, cosmetics, enchantments, and other items.

Imposter Monkeys
Some monkeys disguise themselves as normal Minecraft mobs. Break their disguise before stunning and capturing them.
Pipotrons
Powerful Pipotrons can begin appearing across different dimensions.
These tougher encounters have unique attacks and require a different approach than normal monkeys before they can be stunned and captured.

Capturing Pipotrons can reward rare items, cosmetics, and special enchantments.
Pipopedia
The Lab Console includes an in-game Pipopedia with information about monkeys, gadgets, Pipotchi, and other mod content.
Cosmetics!
Cosmetic items can be found while exploring or traded in the shop.

Getting Started
To begin, craft a Stun Club, Monkey Net, and Lab Console.
Place the Lab Console to access missions and Casi's hologram to trade for prizes, then start capturing monkeys, and completing missions.
You may use this mod in any modpack

This mod requires GeckoLib
And Curiosis suggested but not required
Eventual Future Plans:
- Full boss fights (Freaky Monkey Five and Specter) in unique arenas
- More character cosmetics (Yuumi's bunny backpack, Spike's hair style, etc.)
