About this project

What does Smart Mend Craft add?

Smart Mend Craft improves Minecraft's Mending system by giving you control over which items receive your experience first.

Instead of leaving Mending entirely to vanilla's selection system, Smart Mend Craft lets you define your own repair priorities for:

• Main Hand
• Off Hand
• Armor
• Inventory

Configurable repair priorities
Press F7 to open the configuration screen. Enable or disable individual repair categories and arrange them in the order you want them to receive XP.

Two inventory repair modes

Balance — prioritizes the damaged Mending item with the highest damage percentage, helping distribute repairs intelligently.

Finish Item — selects an inventory item and keeps prioritizing it until it is fully repaired before moving on to another item.

Repair HUD
When Smart Mend Craft repairs an item, a compact animated HUD shows the repaired item and its current durability. The notification position can be configured or disabled completely.

Multiplayer friendly
Smart Mend Craft can be installed on both the server and client. Players with the mod installed receive Smart Mend Craft's configurable repair system and visual features.

Players who join the server without Smart Mend Craft installed on their client can still connect normally and keep vanilla Mending behavior.
