Quick answer
Which Tensura Slot Clear release should I use?
Tensura Slot Clear 1.0.3 targets 1.21.1 with NeoForge. The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both. All 6 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Tensura Slot Clear required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does Tensura Slot Clear 1.0.3 need?
Tensura Slot Clear 1.0.3. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Tensura: Reincarnated, SmartBrainLib (Forge/Fabric/Quilt), ManasCore, TerraBlender (NeoForge) and 2 more first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 5 come through another mod in the chain.
5 extra mods were pulled in by other dependencies. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Tensura Slot Clear add?
Tensura Slot Clear
A tiny client-side quality-of-life addon for Tensura: Reincarnated.
What it does
When the Tensura ability preset-slot dropdown is open, right-clicking an assigned slot clears that assignment back to None. The skill remains learned, its mastery is unchanged, and the normal left-click behavior is untouched.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.222 or newer
- Tensura: Reincarnated 2.0.0.1 or newer
This addon is client-only. It delegates to Tensura's own normal server-validated empty-slot request, so servers need only the matching Tensura version.
Tensura 2.0.0.1 and 2.0.1.3 are confirmed working. Future Tensura versions are allowed but not guaranteed: the addon may need an update if Tensura changes the internal method it integrates with.
From version 1.0.3, NeoForge dependency validation reports missing or incompatible Tensura versions with a clear explanation to install or update Tensura. The Tensura mixin uses requiredMods=["tensura"] and is not registered when Tensura is absent.
Beyond the required NeoForge loader, this addon has no additional required runtime dependencies beyond Tensura. Tensura still requires its own dependencies.
Use
- Open the Tensura ability selector.
- Expand the preset-slot dropdown.
- Right-click an assigned slot to clear it.
config/tensuraslotclear-client.toml contains rightClickClear = true.
Development note: This addon was developed with assistance from OpenAI’s Codex AI, then built and tested in the author’s local Minecraft instance.
