About this project

What does Custody add?

Custody is an addon for Cuffed by LazrProductions. It extends Cuffed's detention mechanics with additional restraint types, holding blocks, redstone-driven traps and tools for moving prisoners between locations.

Requires Cuffed 1.3.15 or newer

Restraints

  • Rope — with more visible wrap layers on the player model.
  • Straitjacket
  • Sleep Mask — blocks vision.
  • Shock Collar — a restraint paired to a remote. Applies the new Electrization effect.

Holding and transport

  • Bed Restraint, Wall Restraint
  • Reinforced Bed — available in all colours.
  • Block Locker — make any block reinforced.
  • Player Picker — pick up a player as a carryable item.

Dispenser Traps and redstone

  • Dispensers can apply restraints to a player who walks in front of them.
  • Dispensers loaded with a key will release restraints instead.
  • The pillory and Wall Restraint can be triggered by redstone.

Enchantments

  • Repellent — repells mobs away.
  • Restraint Gaze
  • Illusion

Equipment

  • Reinforced Bow
  • Arrow of Restraint and Arrow of Electrization

Quality of life

  • Compact restraint HUD
  • Release keybinds
  • Possessions Box with Curios support
  • Gamerules — freeAfterDeath, fixClearBars, hearUnmuffled.
  • Server-side config

Fixes

  • Reinforced bars checking the wrong neighbouring block when deciding whether to connect upwards.
  • Restraints loaded from NBT sharing a single registry instance, which caused two players in the same restraint type to share its durability, enchantments and captor.

Compatibility

  • Curios — optional. Curio slots are frisked alongside the inventory.
  • Fake Players — optional. Every body restraint and every stationary restraint works on fake players.
