About this project
What does APS Cloning add?
APS Cloning
A Pokémon cloning machine for Cobblemon.**
Open it from your hub with /apscloning, pick an original Pokémon, feed the machine, and a weakened first-stage clone arrives in your party (or PC) when the timer ends.
Upgrade it with augments to turn weak clones into perfect, shiny, marked and resized ones.
How it works:
- Choose the original. Any Pokémon from your party or any PC box, only the species is used; the original is never consumed or changed.
- Supply the requirements:
- Perfected Ditto
- Catalyst (consumed per clone)
- Fuel matching one of the original's types
- Pick your augments and press "Start Cloning".
- Wait. Cloning runs on real time, even while you are offline, and the clone is delivered when it finishes.
Without augments the clone is "weakened": level 1 and very low IVs.
The clone:
- Always the first evolution stage of the original.
- Legendary and Mythical cannot use a normal Catalyst. They need a "Legendary Catalyst", and cloning takes longer.
Fuel:
One fuel item per Pokémon type.
- Fuel: consumed per clone.
- Eternal Fuel: never consumed.
Augments
Augment:
IV Maxers (one per stat) - Sets that IV to 31
IV Minimizers (one per stat) - Sets that IV to 0, for tailored spreads
EV Copier- Copies the original's EVs
Move Modules 1-4 - Copy the original's moves, slot by slot
Ability Modules - Standard 1, Standard 2 or Hidden
Speed Boosters Mk1/Mk6 - Cut the cloning time, each tier faster than the last
Shiny Boosters 1-3 - Base odds are 1 in 8196. Each booster halves them and they stack, down to about 1 in 1024
Size Modules - Tiny, Small, Large or Giant clones
Genes - Give the clone one random Cobblemon mark from the gene's pool
Genes and marks:
Eight genes, opened from the Marks submenu. Each gene rolls one random mark from its pool:
- Happy: Joyful, Smiley, Upbeat, Excited, Kindly, Charismatic
- Aggressive: Angry, Ferocious, Intense, Rowdy, Scowling, Pumped-Up
- Moody: Peeved, Thorny, Prideful, Teary, Flustered
- Quiet: Calmness, Humble, Unsure, Rare, Absent-Minded
- Tired: Slump, Zero Energy, Zoned-Out, Jittery, Sleepy-Time, Dusk
- Active: Vigor, Intellectual, Crafty, Uncommon, Dawn, Lunchtime
- Blizzard: Rainy, Stormy, Snowy, Blizzard, Misty
- Sandstorm: Cloudy, Dry, Sandstorm
Permanent and single-use items:
Every item comes in two versions.
- Permanent: use it once and the machine remembers it. You no longer need to carry it. Permanent items are soulbound to the first player who holds them.
- Single Use: consumed when a clone starts.
Speed Boosters are permanent only. Fuel and Catalysts are consumables.
Custom GUI
A fully custom, texture-based interface with a Pokémon picker and search, a Marks submenu, live progress bars and tooltips that show whether each item is permanent, single-use or missing.
