Viltrumite: Kryptonians (Superman)

Become a Kryptonian. A Superman-style power set for the Viltrumite mod: charge up in the sun, burn through enemies with heat vision, freeze them with your breath, see through walls — and fear kryptonite.

☀️ Solar Absorption

Fly up into the daylight sky to charge. Charging starts above Y 96 and gets faster the higher you climb: at Y 256 under a high sun, a full bar takes 3 minutes. Below the clouds, rain blocks the sun. There's no charging at night, in the Nether or in the End. Golden embers drift off you while you charge. Hover in place and you spread your arms toward the sun as your cape lifts.

⚡ Solar Power

Stored energy makes you stronger — the fuller the bar, the bigger the boost:

• Heat vision & freeze breath — thicker beams, up to 1.5× range and 2× power
• Super Speed — up to twice as fast
• Flight — 20% faster
• Crashing through terrain at high speed — a tunnel twice as wide

Boosted powers drain the bar while you use them. Flying is free.

🔥 Heat Vision

Hold to fire twin beams from your eyes (up to 6 s, cooldown up to 4 s). Scroll the mouse wheel while firing to focus:

• Wide — thicker and shorter, up to 2× damage
• Narrow — thin and long (up to 90 blocks), weaker

Focus all the way wide while you have solar energy, and both beams fuse into one massive beam. It sets targets on fire and melts and ignites blocks around the impact (obsidian holds).

❄️ Freeze Breath

Hold to exhale a frost vortex that hits everything in its path with cold damage, freezing and heavy slowness. Water turns to ice, lava to obsidian, and fires go out. With solar power it freezes a wider area and covers the ground in snow. Focus it with the mouse wheel, just like heat vision.

👁️ X-Ray Vision

Toggle for up to 6 s: every living creature within 50 blocks — mobs, animals, players — glows through walls behind a blue visor.

☢️ Kryptonite

The glowing Kryptonite Cluster (in the creative tab) poisons Kryptonians within 8 blocks — on the ground, in a hand, in an item frame or in your inventory:

• Right away: powers drop to 80% and keep fading
• 20 s: heat vision and freeze breath are gone
• 40 s: no powers, no flight
• 50–60 s: poisoning, then blindness

Get away to recover — it's faster in sunlight. Relogging won't cure you. Lead blocks from other mods block the radiation.

🎨 Your Beams, Your Style

/viltrumite laser and /viltrumite breath set:

• beam color (hex, names or rainbow, plus a separate core color)
• width
• where your eyes and mouth sit, to match your skin

Operators can also tune damage, range, charge delay and whether beams melt, burn or freeze blocks. Settings are saved, and everyone around sees them.

🛠️ Quick Start

1. Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+.
2. Install Viltrumite (1.11.x, from 1.11.2) and Viltrumite Flight (1.6.x, from 1.6.9).
3. Drop Kryptonians into your mods folder — on the server too for multiplayer.
4. Join a world and press Become a Kryptonian on the race screen. Your power bar fills itself: Heat Vision, Freeze Breath, X-Ray Vision, Sonic Punch, Grab & Carry, Thunderclap — plus Dash, Fast Take-Off, Cruise Flight, Super Speed, Speed Lock and Barrage on the second page (Alt).

⚠️ Don't use it together with the Laser Eyes addon: Kryptonians has its own heat vision, and both use the /viltrumite laser command.
