About this project
What does Cobblemon Trainer's Bag add?
Trainer's Bag
A Pokémon-style Bag for Cobblemon. One item holds unlimited Poké Balls, Medicine, Berries, TMs, Mega Stones and more, sorted into pockets like the main-series games. Nothing takes up inventory slots.
How it works
- Right-click the bag to open it. Pick a pocket from the tabs along the top.
- Click an item and the bag becomes that stack (up to 64). Throw the Poké Balls, use the Potion on your Pokémon, craft with it. When the stack is used up, the bag comes back to your hand.
- Sneak + right-click while holding the stack to put it back early. Sneak + scroll switches to the next item in the same pocket.
- Shift + click an item to get an ordinary stack for chests, trades, machines and recipes.
- Sneak + right-click the bag to store everything it accepts from your inventory. Key Items on your hotbar (Pokédex, rods, Pokénav) are left alone.
Pockets
Medicine · Poké Balls · Battle Items · Held Items · Berries · TMs & TRs · Mega & Forms · Evolution · Ingredients · Treasures · Other Items · Key Items
Features
- Unlimited storage. No slot limits and no upgrades to craft.
- Your bag is tied to you, not the item. Every bag you own opens the same storage, like an Ender Chest. Lose a bag to death, lava or despawning and nothing inside is lost; craft another.
- Favorites. Right-click an item to star it. Starred items stay at the top in every sort, and survive running out.
- Search and sort by bag order, name or count.
- Auto-pickup, per pocket. Off by default. Turn on Berries in Settings and harvested berries go straight into the bag, replacing a separate berry pouch.
- Wallet. Shows your CobbleDollars balance (if installed) and the Relic Coins in your bag, counting pouches as 9 and sacks as 81.
Mod support
Required: Cobblemon 1.8+.
Works with, but doesn't need:
- SimpleTMs: its TMs and TRs share the TMs & TRs pocket with Cobblemon's own TMs, and come back out unchanged, so the TM Case and TM Machine still accept them.
- Cobblemon: Mega Showdown and Z-A mega stones: Mega Stones, Z-Crystals, Tera Shards, plates, memories and form items.
- Cobblemon: Legendary Monuments: keys, flutes, orbs and summoning items in Key Items; treats in Ingredients.
- CobbleDollars: balance in the bag header.
- Pokébadges, Cobblenav, Radical Cobblemon Trainers, Brendon's Bottlecaps items are sorted into pockets too.
For modpack makers: each pocket is an item tag (trainersbag:pockets/medicine, trainersbag:pockets/poke_balls, …). Add or move items with a datapack.
Put it in your modpacks!
I allow it, and your players will love it.
Crafting
String in the top corners, Leather around the edges, and any Poké Ball in the middle.
Notes
- Beta: tested in single player. Install on both client and server.
- Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge. A 1.20.1 version is planned.
- Report bugs in the comments.
