About this project

What does Wathe:Last Stop Files add?

1. Seven Unique Roles

The seven roles are divided into Killer and Innocent teams. Each role features distinct mechanics and team duties, forming a complete tactical loop. There is no independent neutral victory condition; neutral players follow the innocent team’s victory rules.

Killer Team

  • Scorpion Artisan — Trap & Ambush Specialist. Switch modes via the poison box to deploy poison or summon scorpion traps. Successful trap hits reduce the global cooldown for the entire team. Recover 1 unused trap per round. Teammates will not trigger your placed traps, perfect for coordinated ambushes.
  • Circuit Breaker — Disruption & Control Specialist. Use a remote controller to trigger two-stage blackouts across the train. Enemies are misled by flickering power recovery, creating windows for elimination. Fully compatible with the Technician mechanic and can cancel ongoing fault sequences entirely.
  • Ticket Raider — Trade & Counterplay Specialist. Sign passage contracts to earn round income and private trade discounts. Possesses bonus starting discounts, shorter trade cooldowns, and deal rewards. Both contract signers are protected from player damage during the agreement, enabling unique tug-of-war and economic suppression tactics.

Innocent Team

  • Tomb Keeper — Investigation & Recording Specialist. Locate real player corpses and perform vigil registration to gain temporary protection, precise death time records, and station service rewards. Fully compatible with vanilla investigation, rescue, and corpse moving mechanics.
  • Vital Physician — Pre-Rescue Support Specialist. Inject living teammates in advance to trigger resurrection after their death. Successful rescues apply a permanent medical compensation debuff to the physician, preventing unlimited free revives and adding reasonable tactical cost.
  • Coffin Carrier — Objective Delivery Specialist. Carry corpses with sealed body bags and deliver them to the dedicated Corpse Transfer Station for score progress. Progress is individually counted, and the same corpse will never be scored repeatedly, ensuring fair objective gameplay.
  • Track Sheriff — Defense & Disarm Specialist. Equipped with a revolver to defend innocent players. Toggle disarm mode to block the target’s corresponding weapon type for 30 seconds. Blocked weapon categories cannot be reused even after swapping, allowing precise counterplay against enemy loadouts.

2. Exclusive Gameplay Traits

Poison Sense

Players receive a system prompt when suffering their first real poison damage. Fake poison effects and physician medical debuffs are calculated independently and will not interfere with judgment.

Loaner

Exclusive to Innocent and Neutral players. Killers cannot take new loans. Innocent players may borrow up to 3 times per round, while Neutrals may borrow once per round. Loans only cover price gaps and cannot fully purchase items.

New loans are prohibited if previous debt is unpaid. Full-price purchases are unaffected. All future income prioritizes debt repayment. Refunds, death, revival, reconnection, or job switching will not reset loan usage counts. After turning Killer, existing debt is retained and new loans are disabled. All loan and refund rules follow public item whitelists with no infinite currency looping or arbitrage.

Example: Item price 60 gold | Discount 5 | Wallet 45 → Loan balance needed: 10 gold.

3. Role Shop System

Open the role shop by pressing B or clicking the dedicated button in the Wathe GUI. All item availability, prices, and purchase permissions are server-controlled. Supports page browsing, public order refunds, and passage contract confirmation.

Players may repurchase their role-exclusive tools and general passage tickets during the round. Track Sheriffs can repurchase their revolver. Repurchases preserve current skill charges, cooldowns, and objective progress. Used physician syringes cannot be fully refilled. Scorpion poison and scorpions are drawn from existing inventory — shop purchases do not increase stock capacity.

The shop excludes chaos items and grenades. All tool prices are fully configurable in config/laststopfiles.json via the roleToolPrices parameter.

Default Tool Prices (Configurable)

Tool Price (Gold)

Circuit Remote Controller 75
Public Passage Ticket 25
Grave Keeper Shovel 50

Sheriff Revolver 300

4. Compatibility

Fully compatible withWathe: Extended and Starry Express guide interfaces. All role descriptions, controls, restrictions, and shop data synchronize with live server configurations.

Not compatible with X Wathe Roles or third-party role encyclopedia mods. No third-party file modifications are performed, ensuring base game stability.

5. Visuals & Feedback

All role items use native 16×16 pixel textures matching Wathe’s dark industrial train aesthetic: dark brass poison boxes, emerald syringes, purple-gray scorpions, and sealed black body bags. Remotes and medical tools retain consistent vanilla-style holding animations.

Custom functional block Corpse Transfer Station features dynamic lighting states: idle dark blue, registering amber, completion blue stamp effect. Delivery progress is displayed in HUD. Continuous deliveries refresh feedback and pause match timer during operation, providing clear and polished interaction cues.

6. Scaled Balance Values (Default)

The mod automatically scales core mechanics according to player count to maintain balanced gameplay across small and large lobbies.
