About this project

What does Debris Pouch add?

Mine smarter, not messier!

Tired of your inventory overflowing with useless diorite, granite, and andesite while strip mining or exploring massive cave systems?

Debris Pouch is a lightweight, lore-friendly quality-of-life mod that intercepts stone junk straight from the ground, packs it away automatically, and recycles it into valuable resources!

Features

  • Automatic Junk Absorption: Intercepts mining debris the moment you walk over ground items. No manual picking, no inventory clutter!
  • Autonomous Composting Recycler: For every 64 pieces of debris absorbed, the pouch cycles and grants 1× Bone Meal + 3 Experience Points with a satisfying composter sound effect.
  • Toggle On / Off: Hold the pouch and press Shift + Right Click to activate or deactivate absorption at any time.
  • Visual & Particle Feedback:
    • Enchantment Glint: Emits an enchanted shimmer when active.
    • Activation Sparkles: Pops with celebratory green sparkles (HAPPY_VILLAGER) when enabled.
    • Ambient Particles: Emits gentle nature flakes (COMPOSTER) around your character while working.
    • Deactivation Smoke: Puffs a subtle smoke trail (SMOKE) when turned off.
  • Integrated Durability Progress Bar: Uses a clean custom brown durability bar (#8A7356) that dynamically tracks your recycling progress from 0 to 64.
  • Informative Tooltips: Displays the real-time operational status (ACTIVE / INACTIVE) and exact count of debris currently stored.
  • Data-Driven & Customizable: Filtered by the standard item tag debrispouch:mining_debris. Modpack developers can easily register extra custom stones or debris via simple datapacks without coding!
