About this project
What does CompostScoops add?
CompostScoops
Turn a held stack of plant leftovers into compost with one deliberate action.
Sneak-right-click a composter with a compostable item in your main hand. CompostScoops performs up to 32 vanilla compost attempts, stopping when the composter reaches level7 or the held stack empties.
- Uses Minecraft's normal compostable items and success chances. Failed attempts still consume items in Survival.
- Stops at maturation, preserving the rest of your stack.
- Creative keeps the held stack intact.
- Reports attempts, filling level and readiness in chat.
- Normal clicks, maturation and bone meal collection keep vanilla behavior. Release sneak to collect bone meal.
- Only the held main-hand stack is used; other inventory slots are not scanned.
- English and German messages when the mod is installed on the client.
Installation
Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11, Fabric Loader >=0.19.0, Fabric API, Java21. Install the JAR in your Fabric mods folder. Other loaders and game versions are not supported by this release.
Build and real singleplayer gameplay were checked, including Survival consumption, short stacks, near-full stopping, Creative preservation, invalid ingredients, Adventure exclusion and actual bone meal collection. Dedicated-server/client-without-mod and third-party protection compatibility remain untested.
No new blocks, recipes, menus, telemetry or automatic harvesting. The gallery shows real gameplay in a purpose-built vanilla showcase world; the garden structures are not added by the mod.
