About this project

What does School Furniture add?

School Furniture adds classroom pieces you can place around your world.

Blackboards and greenboards hang on walls. If the block behind one is broken, the board drops. Each color comes in a normal size and a large size.

The trash can sits on the floor. Right click it while holding an item to throw that item away, and you will hear a short trash sound. Sneak if you want to place a block instead of throwing the item. If the block under the can is removed, the can drops.

Paper can be placed on top of a block. Each click adds another sheet, up to eight. The sheets lie flat, and each one may tilt a little left, a little right, or stay straight. Sneak to start a separate pile. A pile of eight does not take anything else on top. Breaking it drops one paper for every sheet.

There are six books: brown, red, green, gray, purple, and blue. You can stack up to three in one pile and mix the colors. They tilt the same way paper does. Sneak to start a new pile. A full pile does not take anything on top. Breaking it gives back the books you placed.

Right click a chair to sit. Press shift to stand up. Nothing can be placed on the chair.

The small table is a low desk. Books and paper placed on it rest on the tabletop.

What’s New 1.0.1

  • Large Table: A two-block-wide wooden table. Place it like a bed (main piece + side). Items on top sit on the surface.
  • Wooden Crayon Box: Small decorative box. Place on the ground or on a small table.
  • Globe Stand: Decorative globe stand. Same placement rules as the crayon box.

Crafting uses ordinary items.

  1. A normal board is eight oak planks around one dye. Black dye makes a blackboard. Green dye makes a greenboard.
  2. A large board is three matching boards in a row.
  3. A trash can is seven chains, with the bottom row filled.
  4. Paper is one paper and one ink sac.
  5. A colored book is one book plus the dye that matches its color.
  6. A chair is made from stripped oak wood and chains.
  7. A small table is made from stripped oak wood and chains.

Every piece drops when you break it, and it also drops if the block supporting it is removed.
