About this project

What does Style Items add?

Style Items

Independent administration commands and a single sky-launch stick for Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge. Version 1.1.0 is a new implementation

Item

Only style_admin:sky_stick remains. Operators can use it to launch a living entity high into the air. Its initial boost is limited to vanilla motion-packet bounds, with temporary fall-damage protection. Healing and feeding wands have been removed.

Commands

Administrative commands require operator permission level 2:

  • /styleadmin tools [players]: give the launch stick.
  • /styleadmin launch <entities>: launch selected living entities.
  • /styleadmin status and /styleadmin reload (also /style_admin ...).
  • /fly [true|false] or /fly <players> <true|false>.
  • /heal [players], /feed [players].
  • /speed <players> <multiplier> (0.1–10).
  • /pvp enable|disable|status.
  • /freeze list, /freeze players|mobs|everything <true|false>, /freeze <players> <true|false>.
  • /randomtp <players> <xMin> <xMax> <yMin> <yMax> <zMin> <zMax>: tries up to 32 safe surface positions per player in the bounds; reports zero if no safe position is found.
  • Vanilla /kick, /ban, /pardon commands are made available when missing.

Player teleport requests:

  • /tpa <player>, /tpaccept [player], /tpadecline [player].
  • Operator configuration: /tparesetcooldown [players], /tpasetwarmup <seconds>, /tpasetcooldown <seconds>, /tpasetcombattimer <seconds>.
  • Teleport warmups cancel when moving, changing dimension, dying, entering combat or becoming frozen.

Settings are stored in config/style-admin.properties. Freeze and pending teleport state is cleared on server stop. This new implementation does not import the old BetterAdmin configuration.

Requires only Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge. Install on server and clients because the launch stick is registered content. Beta: compilation and archive checks passed; new command behavior has not yet been tested in game. Original implementation by Kaan. The launch stick uses Minecraft's built-in blaze rod model/texture.

Version 1.1.1 renames the mod to Style Items. Existing commands, the sky-launch stick, item IDs and configuration paths are retained.
