About this project

What does Redstone Logic Controller add?

Redstone Logic Controller (RLC)

**Programmable automation for Minecraft.** RLC adds programmable controllers based on **grafcet** (sequential function charts), edited live in a graphical editor, and a full range of tech blocks around them.

Blocks

  • **Logic & timing:** timer (TON / TOF / TP), clock, logic gate (8 modes), counter (CTU / CTD / CTUD), numeric comparator.

  • **Memory:** memory, SET/RESET latch, analog memory, named variables shared across the world.

  • **Communication & outputs:** wireless relay channels, redstone output, sound output.

  • **Displays:** sign display, screen with text, 7-segment digits, gauges, coloured LEDs.

  • **Sensors & access control:** entity detector, inventory sensor, environment sensor (light, time, weather), laser passage sensor, fluid sensor, keypad, badge reader.

  • **Grafcet controller:** steps, transitions, actions, assignments and expressions; the first true branch wins.

  • **Supervision:** console listing every automaton, programming tablet, program key to copy and reuse programs.

Survival-ready

  • Every block has a crafting recipe.

  • Only the player who placed a block, and the players on its allowed list, can set it up.

  • Vanilla commands inside a grafcet run only if an operator in creative mode wrote them, like a command block. RLC's own actions (messages, titles, sounds...) are open to everyone.

For mod developers

A public API (com.rlc.api.RlcApi, separate api jar) lets other mods register their own events, actions, values and states, usable from RLC generators and grafcets. They can also seal RLC blocks inside their structures. **YARAM** uses it for its dungeon puzzles.

Install

  • NeoForge for Minecraft 26.3.

  • Install on the server and on every client. No dependencies.

  • In French and English. Full wiki in French: https://rlc.miraheze.org

Redstone Logic Controller (RLC) — en français

**L'automatisme programmable dans Minecraft.** Des automates **grafcet** avec éditeur graphique en direct, et toute une gamme de blocs autour d'eux :

  • tempos, horloges, portes logiques, compteurs, comparateurs ;

  • mémoires, bascules, variables ;

  • relais sans fil, sorties redstone et sonores ;

  • écrans, afficheurs 7 segments, jauges, voyants ;

  • capteurs (entités, inventaire, environnement, laser, fluide) ;

  • clavier à code, lecteur de badge ;

  • console de supervision, tablette et clé de programme.

Tous les blocs se fabriquent en survie, et chacun ne se règle que par son poseur et ses amis. Une API publique permet à d'autres mods (comme YARAM) d'ajouter leurs événements et actions.
