About this project
What does Bearback add?
Ever looked at a polar bear and thought, "I wish I could ride that thing"? Well, now you can.
Bearback lets you tame and ride polar bears, and also adds black bears to the game. They're not just another way to get around, either. They'll follow you, protect you when something attacks, and help you out in a fight.
Getting Started

Find a bear and try feeding it some raw cod or salmon. It might take a few fish before it trusts you, but once you've tamed it, you can put a regular saddle on its back and hop on.
You can also attack while riding. Press R and your bear will stand up on its hind legs and take a swing at anything in front of it, dealing damage and knocking enemies back.

Need Some Extra Storage?
If you're heading out on a longer trip, you can craft a pair of saddlebags and attach them to your bear.
They give you 18 inventory slots, so you can bring along extra tools, food, blocks, or whatever else you don't feel like carrying yourself.
Press E while riding to open the bags, or sneak and right-click your bear to access them from the ground.
And don't worry about your stuff disappearing if your bear gets killed. Everything it was carrying will drop on the ground, along with its equipment.

That's Pretty Much It
No complicated systems or new mechanics to learn. Just feed a bear, earn its trust, throw a saddle on it, and see where the road takes you.
It's still Minecraft, only now you've got a bear to travel with.
