About this project
What does Doomsday_Index add?
Doomsday Scavenge Index
Your in-game scavenge map for the post-apocalypse. Doomsday Scavenge Index adds a loot compendium that catalogs every scavenge point added by Doomsday Decoration (and compatible datapacks) — reading the actual loot tables your server runs, so what the index shows is exactly what the world drops.
Features
- In-Game Compendium — open it from a button in your inventory screen, or press G anytime.
- Real Loot Data — drop lists, quantity ranges and drop chances are parsed live from the active loot tables. No hand-maintained wiki, no outdated numbers.
- Categorized Browsing — pick a category on the left (residential, commercial, industrial, military and more) and scroll through a grid of every scavenge point. Hover any block for its name and ID.
- Drop Detail View — click a scavenge point to inspect its full drop table: every item, its chance, and how much it can drop.
- Hot Reload — changed the loot tables? Run
/doomsdayindex reloadand the index rebuilds instantly, no restart needed. Updates are pushed to every connected player automatically. - Datapack Friendly — datapack loot tables under the supported namespaces are picked up automatically. Add a scavenge point, and it simply appears in the index.
- Client-Only Friendly — playing on a server without the mod? The compendium falls back to a local snapshot. Install on both sides for live synced data (recommended).
How to Use
- Open your inventory and click the Index button (bottom-left), or just press G.
- Choose a category and scroll to browse the scavenge points.
- Click any block to see what it drops and how likely it is.
- Use Back to Inventory (or the keybind again) to return to the game.
