About this project
What does bunkercore-eod add?
BunkerCore is a comprehensive core library mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge. Its primary purpose is to provide reusable systems, interfaces, and technical infrastructure for higher-level mods such as End of Days, preventing each mod from having to reimplement complex foundational features. It includes a visual configuration template manager with categorized and collapsible settings, searchable entries, dynamically editable lists, default-value restoration, template activation and deactivation, and configuration import and export. The interface supports many configuration types, including booleans, numbers, text, enumerations, items, entities, dimensions, and nested data structures. BunkerCore also provides components for player capabilities, economy data, talent and skill trees, entity attributes and equipment editing, node-based editors, networking, data synchronization, reusable user-interface controls, and compatibility utilities. In addition, it contains experimental systems for city and road generation, building-template management, and regional data storage; these city-related features are still being tested and have not yet been implemented in this version. It also provides support for sky and environmental rendering. For End of Days specifically, BunkerCore mainly supplies the configuration screen opened with the J key, configuration template storage and loading, economy and extended data interfaces, and several rendering and integration features. Zombie behavior, mining, flying, disasters, spawning rules, and difficulty progression remain part of End of Days itself. BunkerCore is configured as an optional dependency: End of Days should retain its core gameplay and built-in defaults without it, while installing BunkerCore enables the complete graphical configuration interface, template management, and related extension features.
