What does Hypnos API add?

What is the Hypnos API?

Hypnos API is the shared library used by Good Anvils, Good Spells, and other mods developed by Wasagen. Players install it when a dependent mod requires it.

What it provides

  • An enchantment-policy contract for maximum levels, supported items, compatibility decisions, upgrade costs, repair weights and material mastery.
  • Shared enchantment information for interfaces.
  • Policy snapshots and revision tracking so consumers can identify changes to shared rules.
  • Revision-aware inventory and state utilities.
  • Shared information-panel drawing tools and the Hypnos display and reading bitmap fonts.

The library supplies the contracts and common tools. Good Spells supplies its gameplay policy; Good Anvils consumes that policy for workstation operations. Installing Hypnos API alone does not add an anvil workstation, grimoire, new enchantments or a gameplay balance preset.
