About this project
What does Bdragon add?
Bdragon ("be dragon")
Become a dragon! Complete the quests of the Dragon Altar, choose your race, grow stage after stage by defeating wild dragons, then awaken as the legendary Alpha of your race.
Features
- 11 dragon races, each with its own body, texture, breath and powers: Fire, Ice, Water, Forest, Nether, End, Terra, Sunlight, Storm, Moonlight, Wither.
- A quest to become a dragon: craft the Dragon Altar, offer it the ingredients of 4 quests, and the first elemental essence you offer chooses your race forever.
- 2 forms: hybrid (a human with wings, horns and a tail, whose claws can dig) and full dragon. Press H to switch.
- 5 growth stages: defeat wild dragons of the right rank to grow stronger and bigger, until the legendary stage.
- Dragon nests hidden far from the spawn, in the favourite biomes of each race, from the Overworld to the Nether and the End islands. Each nest guards a treasure chest, and a defeated dragon never comes back.
- Horns to call a wild dragon of your level and fight it anywhere. Add an essence to call a dragon of the race you want.
- Abandoned villages with a Dragon Altar at their centre.
- The Alpha: forge the Orb of Power (4 alpha scales + 1 Nether Star) and live the awakening cinematic. Some Alphas get a whole new body and a unique power:
- Sylvan Tortoise (Forest), a giant tortoise with a meadow on its shell and its Beam of Life;
- Tempest Dragon (Storm), a long storm serpent and its Storm;
- Nether Demon (Nether), a winged demon and its Territory;
- Sun Steed (Sunlight), a golden winged horse and its Sun;
- Moon Dragon (Moonlight), a dragon of the night sky and its Moon.
- 3D items: horns, scales, essence vials and orbs of power in 3D in your hand.
- Spawn eggs for every race, every rank and every Alpha.
- Built-in Codex: the quests, the essence recipes and the way to become an Alpha, always at hand (key G).
- "Bdragon Museum" world type: a guided tour with buttons to try everything.
🚧 Work in progress
5 Alphas out of 11 are already in the game. I'm still working on the other six: Fire, Ice, End, Wither, Terra and Water. Each will get its own body, animations and ultimate power. More structures, balancing and surprises are on the way!
💬 I'm always open to any suggestion: an Alpha design, a power idea, a structure, a balance issue. Leave a comment, every idea is read!
