About this project

What does Stack Unlimiter add?

Overview

Stack Unlimiter is an experimental Minecraft Forge mod that allows normally stackable items to exceed the vanilla limit of 64 items per slot.

Stack counts are stored as signed 64-bit values, allowing up to 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 items in a single stack. Items that are intentionally non-stackable, such as tools and armor, remain non-stackable.

Features

  • Stores oversized stack counts using 64-bit values
  • Supports saving, loading, and network synchronization
  • Inserts large amounts created by /give into a single stack
  • Supports oversized ingredients in vanilla crafting recipes
  • Supports recipe-book placement with large ingredient stacks
  • Processes compatible Shift-click crafting operations in bulk
  • Displays large counts using compact labels that fit inside inventory slots
  • Supports player inventories and compatible Forge item handlers

Why use it?

Stack Unlimiter reduces inventory clutter when storing or working with very large quantities of resources. Instead of spreading thousands of identical items across many slots, they can be kept in a single stack.

Important information

  • Requires Forge
  • Check the supported versions listed for each release before downloading
  • Must be installed on both the client and server
  • Worlds containing oversized stacks depend on this mod
  • Do not open affected worlds without the mod installed
  • Back up your worlds before installing or updating the mod
  • Compatibility with every mod is not guaranteed
  • Custom inventories, machines, menus, and item handlers from other mods may still impose their own limits
  • The mod is experimental and may contain bugs

Items with crafting remainders, unusual custom behavior, or custom inventory implementations may fall back to vanilla behavior.
