About this project
What does Dinosaur Resurrection add?
Dinosaur Resurrection
A herd of Triceratops crosses the plains. A Velociraptor stalks through the forest. High above the ground, a Brachiosaurus reaches into the treetops for a meal.
Dinosaur Resurrection adds six dinosaur species to Minecraft’s Overworld. Explore their habitats, discover wild nests, and hatch eggs to raise dinosaurs of your own.
Meet the Dinosaurs
- Triceratops roams plains and forests in herds and fights back when threatened.
- Velociraptor stalks forests and attacks with a quick combination of slashes and bites.
- Tyrannosaurus hunts in forests and mountains. A wild individual stops to roar the first time it spots a player.
- Stegosaurus travels in herds and can sweep its spiked tail behind it while ridden.
- Brachiosaurus towers over the plains and reaches up to browse on tree leaves.
- Parasaurolophus roams plains and forests in groups and flees when attacked.
Hatch, Raise, and Ride
Find eggs in wild nests, hatch them, and feed the young to earn their trust. Raise your dinosaurs to adulthood, breed tamed pairs, and equip species-specific saddles to ride them. Several species have their own mounted attacks.
Want to speed up growth? Craft a Growth Stimulant with a glass bottle, wheat, and a potato.
Gear and Trophies
Craft a pickaxe from a Triceratops horn or a dagger from a raptor claw. A Stegosaurus spike can be equipped directly as a shield. Display a Tyrannosaurus arm or a Brachiosaurus sacrum as a decorative trophy.
Requirements: Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.22 or later in the 47.x series, and GeckoLib 4.8.4 or later in the 4.x series.
