Mob 2D Render

Mob 2D Render shows supported distant mobs as multi-angle 2D sprites. Nearby mobs and unsupported appearances stay fully 3D. The mod also adds ambient wildlife to the sky and oceans.

• See distant mobs from the front, sides, diagonals, above, and below. Adjust the distance and apparent size at which eligible mobs switch to sprites, or turn the effect off for individual species.
• Sprite appearances are cached. Fabric builds include prebuilt vanilla appearances; Forge and NeoForge builds generate appearances from their own game version as needed. Supported modded mobs can also use their current appearance. Unsupported models and special states stay in 3D.
• Watch schools of cod and salmon in the ocean, bats in the night sky, small flocks of birds by day, and dolphins leaping over open water.
• With Farmer’s Dislikes (农夫琐事2) installed, its sparrows can appear in flocks of 50 that spread out and regroup overhead. Bat flocks and sparrow murmurations have independent spawn-chance sliders. With Avifauna of South China installed, some of its daytime birds can appear in the ambient flocks.
• Ambient groups are visual scenery. They add no interactable mobs and do not change combat, collision, or drops.
• Experimental shader support can keep 3D shadows while using sprites in the main view where supported. Results depend on the installed shader and loader; the option is off by default.

Install the file matching your exact Minecraft version and mod loader. On Fabric, Fabric API is required and Mod Menu is optional for opening settings. The server does not need the mod.

• 海洋里能看到鳕鱼和鲑鱼结群游动，夜里有蝙蝠飞过，白天有小群鸟掠过天空，也偶尔能看到海豚在开阔水面跃起。
• 安装《农夫琐事2》后，它的麻雀可以组成 50 只一群的鸟浪，在空中展开、分散、再聚拢。蝙蝠群和麻雀鸟浪可以独立调整生成几率。安装华南鸟志时，白天的视觉鸟群也可出现其中的部分鸟类。
• 这些动物群都是环境景观，没有可交互的生物，不改变战斗、碰撞或掉落。
• 实验性光影选项可以让支持的光影在主画面使用平图，并保留立体阴影。效果取决于所用光影和加载器，默认关闭。

请选择与游戏版本、加载器相符的文件。Fabric 版需要 Fabric API，可选装 Mod Menu 打开设置。服务器无需安装。
