About this project
What does Bed Patch add?
Bed Patch is a small server mod that fixes the long standing vanilla bug that sometimes causes a player to get stuck in bed after teleporting or changing dimensions. When this happens you have no choice but to exit the game to get your character out of bed. This bug appears to have existed since at least 1.10.2.
Other mods like Bed Bugs have attempted to work around this issue by giving the player way to kick themselves back to the main menu. This saves time because Minecraft doesn't need to be restarted, but it doesn't fix the actual bug.
Bed Patch fixes the actual issue that causes the problem, preventing the player from getting stuck in the bed at all.
It is available for 1.10.2, 1.11.2, and 1.12.2. If you need it for a different version of Minecraft, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
This mod is only needed on the server, but installing it on a client will not cause any issues.
NOTE: This is a coremod that patches vanilla Minecraft code. Because of this it is possible that it may have conflicts with other mods!
Known Incompatible Mods:
- Cubic Chunks
