ChunkScope
Visualize chunk performance with beautiful terrain-following overlays. See entity counts, tile entities, and lag sources in real-time. Sculk-themed with particles, waves, and floating holograms. 100% client-side.
Quick answer
Which ChunkScope release should I use?
ChunkScope 3.1.0 targets 1.21.2, 1.21.3, 1.21.4 with Fabric. It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server. All 1 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is ChunkScope required on the client, server, or both?
It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server.
This file is marked client-only.
What else does ChunkScope 3.1.0 need?
3.1.0. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Fabric API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 1 comes through another mod in the chain.
1 extra mod was pulled in by another dependency. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does ChunkScope add?
See which chunks are lagging your game.
ChunkScope draws colored lines on the ground along chunk borders, color-coded by entity and block entity load. Critical chunks get a vertical beacon beam so you spot them instantly.
Controls:
- F6 — toggle on/off
- F7 — enable for 10 seconds
What you see:
- Ground-level colored border lines (green = fine, yellow = warn, orange = high, red = critical, cyan = sculk detected)
- Floating labels with entity and block entity counts per chunk
- Beacon beams on dangerous and critical chunks
- Ambient particles near overloaded chunks
Config (ModMenu):
Toggle particles, holograms, beacons, screen shake. Adjust render distance, scan interval, and warning/critical thresholds.
Requires Fabric API.
