ChunkScope
Visualize chunk performance with beautiful terrain-following overlays. See entity counts, tile entities, and lag sources in real-time. Sculk-themed with particles, waves, and floating holograms. 100% client-side.
Quick answer
Which ChunkScope release matches 26.3 Fabric?
ChunkScope 3.1.0 targets 1.21.2, 1.21.3, 1.21.4 with Fabric. It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server. All 1 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is ChunkScope required on the client, server, or both?
It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server.
This file is marked client-only.
What else does ChunkScope 3.1.0 need?
3.1.0 on 26.3 Fabric. Every mod below is checked against that same setup.
Install Fabric API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 1 comes through another mod in the chain.
1 extra mod was pulled in by another dependency. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does ChunkScope add?

ChunkScope
See which chunks are lagging your game in real time—rendered in-world with a clean, Sculk-inspired diagnostic overlay.
Hunting down FPS drops or overloaded farms with raw F3 debug numbers gets old fast. ChunkScope scans loaded chunks around you on the client and projects their live entity and block-entity density straight onto the terrain with a Sculk-inspired visual overlay—so hidden mob pileups, hopper walls, storage rooms, and chest monsters stand out from across your base.
100% client-side. Works in singleplayer and on any multiplayer server with zero server-side mods required.

Visual Diagnostic System
| Feature | |
|---|---|
| Terrain-Following Color-Coded Borders Draws clean chunk boundary lines contoured directly onto the ground around you instead of blinding full-height wireframes, color-coded by live load severity. |
|
| Floating Entity & Block-Entity Holograms Projects exact live counts of entities (mobs, item drops, armor stands, minecarts) and block entities (hoppers, chests, furnaces, signs) above active chunks so you know why a chunk is hot before digging in. |
|
| Vertical Beacon Beams & Sculk Waves Sends unmistakable vertical beacon pillars skyward from dangerous and critical chunks so you can spot lag spikes through walls or across large technical perimeters, paired with optional ambient Sculk wave and particle effects. |
|
| Granular Mod Menu Configuration Tune scan radius, threshold cutoffs, hologram visibility, beacon pillars, border opacity, and ambient Sculk effects live in game via Mod Menu. |
Color Legend & Keybinds
| Chunk Color | Meaning | Default Hotkey | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Green | Healthy — low entity & block-entity load | F6 | Toggle persistent ChunkScope overlay on / off |
| Yellow | Elevated — moderate activity worth watching | F7 | Trigger a 10-second Sculk scan pulse and auto-fade |
| Orange | High — heavy farm, storage room, or mob cluster | Controls | Both keys are freely remappable in Minecraft keybinds |
| Red | Critical — severe lag hotspot (+ vertical beacon beam) | Mod Menu | Open visual & threshold settings screen |
| Cyan | Sculk resonance detected in chunk |
