Summary

AlphaJam is a relatively small quality-of-life mod for Alpha 1.2.6 that has been made with no particular goal in mind other than to improve the overall experience.

This mod does NOT alter the core game mechanics in any way except for fixing major bugs present in the version, such as ore generation and leaf decay. This mod is made for people who still want to play Alpha mostly as-is but with some improvements.

Also this is NOT a recreation of legacy console edition. It has a few features from LCE, but that is not the primary goal.

If you want a true Legacy Console experience for modern versions, check out Legacy4J!

Features

Including but not limited to:

  • A LCE-like panorama background instead of dirt
  • Limited saturation on foliage that makes it look prettier
  • A classic mode that brings back lime green foliage from pre-a1.2
  • A toggleable FPS counter that shows on the top left during gameplay
  • An FOV slider
  • Adjustable GUI scaling
  • Cloud distance slider
  • Adjustable fog distance

All of the options above are customizable, and so is most of everything else the mod adds or changes.

More features will be added as time goes on! This mod is still pretty new.
