About this project

What does Smooth Third Person Camera (STPC) add?

Smooth Third Person Camera (STPC)

STPC is a lightweight, compatibility-first camera smoothing mod for Minecraft.

Instead of taking control of your camera, STPC is designed to work on top of the camera you already use — whether that's vanilla Minecraft or another camera mod.

Features

  • Smooth third-person camera movement
  • FPS-independent smoothing
  • Configurable smoothness and maxDistance
  • Optional Limit Break mode for direct numeric input

Compatibility

Compatibility is one of STPC's main goals.

STPC tries to avoid replacing or taking control of camera behavior such as rotation, perspective, offsets, and controls. When another camera mod is installed, STPC aims to let that mod control the camera and simply smooth the resulting movement.

Support may vary depending on the Minecraft version and mod loader.

STPC is designed to coexist with other camera mods whenever possible. If you find a camera mod that conflicts with STPC, please report it on the GitHub Issues page.
