About this project
What does Inventory Tabs add?
Some cool members of the community have updated the mod for newer versions here.
Inventory Tabs requires Fabric Loader and the Fabric API
This mod is completely client-side, but servers can install to configure line of sight checks.
What Is This
Inventory Tabs adds tabs to your inventory that lead to nearby blocks.
Usage/Features
Opening your inventory near blocks that open a GUI will now display tabs of nearby blocks. For example, placing down a furnace and opening your inventory will reveal a tab for that furnace. You can navigate tabs more easily by using the tab key to move forward and shift+tab to move backward; this is configurable.
By default, players are not required to have direct line of sight to the blocks. This can be enabled in the config, which is synced from server to client. Servers not running this mod will enforce line of sight.
You can also configure the mod to rotate the player to look at the selected tab's block.
