📖 About:

Pumped Desert 2 is a complete remake of the original Pumped Desert mod. The Cow Skull and Mini Cactus are back, but almost everything else has been rebuilt and expanded. Explore the desert and meet Ostriches, Rhinos, Western Gophers, Scorpions, Saxaul Jays, Fennecs, Snakes and Tumbleweeds. Many of them have their own mechanics: Ostriches can be tamed and ridden, Gophers hide from danger, Snakes can be tamed and protect their owner, Fennecs can break Snake Eggs, and Scorpions attack with poison. The desert is also filled with Palm and Dead Trees, Prickly Pears, Adeniums, Spinifex, new cactuses and other plants, together with new Sandstone, Red Sandstone and Limestone blocks for building.

Be careful while travelling — Quicksand and Red Quicksand can slow you down, and sandstorms can cover the desert with temporary Sand Drifts. Badlands have their own Red Sandstorms, while Evil Sandstorms appear during the Sandstone Giant fight. Search for buried Desert Ruins, dig up new Pottery Sherds and explore the Desert Arena and Mummy Chamber. In the Desert Arena you can spend 35 experience levels at the Boss Altar to summon the Sandstone Giant. At half health, the Giant transforms into a tornado and summons Evil Sandstorms. Defeat it to obtain Desert Keys and the Heart of the Desert, which can be used to craft the Fire Staff.

The Mummy Chamber has another challenge waiting for you. Complete all four Mummy Trial Spawners and Anubius will appear in the center of the chamber. Defeat him to obtain the Soul in a Coin, an item connected to the Security Guard companion. You can also unlock Desert and Mummy Chamber Vaults with their respective keys and search them for special loot.

Try new weapons such as the Legendary Desert Sword, Legendary Desert Hammer, Fire Staff, Scorpion Tail, Ancient Ring and Sand Charges. The Scorpion Tail fires poisonous projectiles, while the Ancient Ring can push nearby enemies away.

The mod also adds two large paintings connected to the story of the Sandstone Giant: Eclipse and Creation of the Sandstone Giant. Eclipse tells the story of the Giant’s past, while Creation of the Sandstone Giant shows how he was created. Both can be obtained like normal Minecraft paintings — place a Painting and keep replacing it until one of the new variants appears, as long as there is enough space on the wall.

Find new armor, pottery, skulls, food and the music disc The End Adventure while exploring the desert.

Explore what is buried beneath the sand, uncover the story of the Sandstone Giant, survive the storms and challenge the creatures and bosses of the desert!
