About this project

What does Hammer That Rock! add?

Are you wanting more ores and minerals in your life? Do you want to hit stuff with hammers and pry gems from their home? Do you seek regular fun by automating an ore refining facility? If so, then hammer that ore!

This mod allows you to use the tetra workbench to process ores and raw ore chunks into their refined forms, such as iron ore into a refined iron ore chunk by using a hammer, or taking the diamonds out of a diamond ore block with a claw on a double headed tetra tool.

You can currently process the following ores, and other mods will be supported in the future;

Hammering:

Raw Iron, gold, and copper can be hammered into refined ore chunks of the same type, and these refined ore chunks smelt faster than the normal variant. By hammering these ore chunks, you get 1.5x the rate of ingots from your ores.

Mining:

Redstone, coal, nether gold, gold, and iron ores can all be smashed with a pickaxe on the workbench to give more of their regular drops, at a 1.5x rate.

Prying:

Diamonds, emeralds, lapis lazuli, and quartz can all be pried from their stones using a claw, and this gives a 1.5x rate of drops.

Additional notes:

Using a forge hammer from tetra, you can automate any of the hammering parts using redstone, which may make for a good factory part if you are looking to get the max out of your resources. This mod is meant to give silk touch users a more friendly time by rewarding their work, and fortune users also get a good payout as all above drops are affected by fortune. all of these can be done in or out of the gui, as the ore can be placed in the workbench and then have the tool used on it from outside.

Currently supported mods:

Create: Zinc

Ad Astra: All planet ores, ostrum, calorite, and desh
