Demo

This mod aims to change the aggro system of Minecraft to prevent mobs fixating on the first mob to attack it.

Obviously the purpose of this mod is not to get iron golems to kill your pets, this new aggro system will target the entity that dealt the most damage to it.
It's meant for when there are multiple players fighting a modded boss or something. (Like a mmorpg)

Enchantments

These enchantments are added to allow players better handle aggro, maybe even let someone play a tank role

Aggronizing

Levels: 1-5
The Aggronizing enchantment lets you draw more aggro than your actual damage, aggro is calculated with the formula (1 + Aggronizing Level) * Damage Dealt, where Aggronizing Level will be he combined enchantment level of both main and offhand items and Damage Dealt is the actual damage Dealt in the attack.
For example, a wooden sword normally deals 4 damage, enchanted with Aggronizng I will still deal 4 damage but draw 8 points of aggro.

Aggrobaiting

Levels: Decided via config
The Aggrobaiting enchantment allows to draw aggro of certain mobs within a set radius, configurable with the config.

Attribute

aggro_amount

The amount of aggro a player draws is multiplied by this value so making it less than 1 draws less aggro and more than 1 draws more aggro

Config

Max Bait Level

The max level of the Aggrobait Enchant

Bait Level

Amount of aggro applied by the effects of Aggrobait eg. A Bait Level of 5.0 is equivalent to aggro accumulated by punching it 5 times

Scale bait Level

Should Bait level scale with Enchantment Level eg. Aggrobaiting V will apply 5x more aggro and Aggrobaiting I

Bait Cooldown

The amount of ticks an Aggrobait item will be on cooldown for.

Bait Range

The radius which Aggrobait will draw aggro

Inclusive Tiers

Aggrobait enchant will also draw aggro of lower leveled entities, this allows pack makers to design it to bait different enemies

Use Whitelist

Use whitelist or blacklist, true for whitelist and false for blacklist

Entity list

List of entity for the whitelist or blacklist depending on the above setting, an empty blacklist disables the filtering

Datapack

The creatures that Aggrobaiting attracts is modifiable via datapack.
Entites tagged with aggrobait_n will be affected by Aggrobaiting n.
eg. If an entity is tagged in aggrobait_2 then when using an item with Aggrobait II an aggro of 10(if scale bait level is true) will be applied to the Entity. If Inclusive Tiers is true then any entity tagged with aggrobait_1 will also be affected. (Untested: in theory you can have as many different tags as there are enchantment levels)

Commands

Added the /aggro command
/aggro add/set attackers victim (level)
add/set lets you add the aggro to the current or lets you set the aggro
attackers allows multiple entities
victim must be one entity, which all attackers will aggro to
level is optional if not entered a default of 10 will be used

Feel free to use in modpacks, It's what this mod is made for!
