About this project

What does OneHitTreeChopper add?

🪓 OneHitTreeChopper

Tired of floating trees and tedious logging? OneHitTreeChopper is a lightweight, highly efficient Fabric mod that allows you to fell entire trees with a single swing of your axe! Say goodbye to punching wood all day and hello to instant deforestation.

✨ Key Features

  • Instant Felling: Break just one block of a tree, and the entire structure comes crashing down instantly.
  • Server & Client Sync (No Ghost Blocks!): Fully supports both Singleplayer and Multiplayer. By installing this on both the server and the client, you get a buttery-smooth experience with zero "ghost blocks" or anti-cheat rollbacks.
  • Fair Play Mechanics: The mod respects vanilla balance. It drops all the blocks as items correctly, and your axe takes proportional durability damage for every block broken. If your axe is about to break, it stops automatically!
  • Quick Toggle System: Don't want to chop the whole house down by accident? Simply press G (configurable in Key Binds) to toggle the mod ON or OFF on the fly. You'll get a handy chat message confirming the status.
  • Smart Detection: Uses an advanced 3D search algorithm (3x3x3 grid) to ensure diagonal logs and thick tree branches are completely chopped down.

⚙️ Configuration

The mod generates a onehittreechopper.json config file where you can customize:

  • enabled: Default toggle state.
  • maxTreeSize: The maximum number of blocks a single tree can have (default: 300). Prevents massive server lag!
  • woodTags: Customize which blocks are recognized as "wood" (supports custom woods from other mods!).
