Quick answer
Which Armorful release should I use?
Armorful 3.1.3 targets 1.20.5, 1.20.6 with Fabric. The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both. 1 required mod needs a matching file.
Where it goes
Is Armorful required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does Armorful 3.1.3 need?
Armorful 3.1.3. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install MRU, Fabric API first, but 1 required mod has no matching file for this setup. Do not mix loader builds to force a match.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Armorful add?
Armorful
Armorful adds armor for various mobs naturally where vanilla does not. It adds armor to illagers during raids and patrols, and allows Drowned to spawn with armor.
It's a Fabric port of Illagers Wear Armor, just with a few slight tweaks, bug fixes and new features.
Illagers (Pillagers)
Illagers have a chance to naturally spawn with armor, and an increased chance during a raid depending on the difficulty and the wave number.
- Evoker
- Illusioner
- Pillager
- Vindicator
- Vexes

Drowned
Drowned can now have a chance to naturally spawn with armor depending on the difficulty of the world.
