About this project

What does Kaleidoscope Nether add?

Overview

Who says the Nether can't have delicious food? This mod brings Nether-themed food expansions to "Kaleidoscope: Cookery", adding a large variety of foods and some useful small items.

Currently, you can create dishes related to Nether mobs such as Blazes, Magma Cubes, Piglins, Piglin Brutes, Hoglins, Ghasts, and Wither Skeletons.

Pick delicious Crimson Fruits and Warped Fruits in Crimson Forests and Warped Forests.

Use Nether Caterpillars to feed Striders.

You can even turn Nether Stars into gourmet food that grants you unique attributes when consumed.

Content

Soul Return Rice: Returns you to your death point when consumed.

Lava Chicken: Yes, it's exactly what you're thinking - lava roasted chicken.

Seed Bag: Can store seeds. After placing seeds inside, you can plant them directly. Sneak to plant in a 3x3 area. When players pick up seeds, they automatically go into the seed bag.

Nether Caterpillar: Used to feed Striders, making them grow up immediately. Of course, you can also turn it into delicious sashimi.

Cross-mod Content

**Regions Unexplored

Adds cross-mod dishes for the Glowing Mushroom biome in the Nether, such as Glowing Pudding, Glowing Soup, Glowing Salad, etc.

Artifacts

Everlasting Flame Steak: An upgraded version of the Everlasting Steak. It's not consumed when eaten and grants the Satiety Compensation effect.
