About this project

What does TheDru juggernaut add?

Jugg is a Juggernaut tracking mod/plugin for Minecraft servers. It lets server admins assign one or more players as Juggernauts, automatically ping their locations every 5 minutes, show what dimension they are in, make assigned players glow, and remove them from tracking when they die.

Fabric Version

The Fabric version is a server-side mod. Players do not need to install it on their own clients.

To install it, use a Fabric server for Minecraft 1.21.11. Put Fabric API 0.141.4+1.21.11 into the server’s mods folder, then put Jugg-Fabric.jar into the same mods folder. Restart the server after adding both files.

Once the server is running, operators can type /jugg to open the clickable admin panel in chat. From there, you can assign online players, unassign active Juggernauts, revive dead Juggernauts, send a manual ping, and change settings. You can also use direct commands such as /jugg assign <player>, /jugg unassign <player>, /jugg revive <player>, /jugg ping, /jugg status, and /jugg reload.

The Fabric version saves its settings and assigned players in config/jugg.json. Only server operators can use the admin commands.

Paper Version

The Paper version is a server plugin. It is meant for Paper servers, not Fabric servers.

To install it, use a Paper server for Minecraft 1.21.11. Put the Paper plugin .jar file into the server’s plugins folder, then restart the server. After the restart, the plugin will create its config file automatically.

Operators or players with the jugg.admin permission can run /jugg or /juggernaut to open the inventory GUI. The GUI lets you assign players, manage active and dead Juggernauts, manually ping locations, and change settings. You can also use /jugg assign <player>, /jugg unassign <player>, /jugg status, and /jugg reload.

The Paper version uses the permission jugg.admin for management. If broadcast-to-all is disabled, players with jugg.see can still receive Juggernaut pings.

Gameplay Features

Assigned Juggernauts glow so everyone can see them. If your server uses scoreboard teams with colors, the glow outline follows the player’s team color.

Every 5 minutes, the server sends a Juggernaut location ping. The ping includes the player’s coordinates and dimension. The dimension labels are color coded: END is yellow, OVR is green for the Overworld, and NET is dark red for the Nether.

When a Juggernaut dies, they are marked as dead, removed from future pings, and announced with a title. Their equipped armor is destroyed when they die. Admins can later revive or reassign players through the controls.

This is useful for events, manhunts, boss-player modes, minigames, survival challenges, and any server where admins need an easy way to track special players.
