Quick answer
Which Sky Color Changer release should I use?
Sky Color Changer 2.0.0 targets 26.2 with Fabric. It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server. All 1 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Sky Color Changer required on the client, server, or both?
It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server.
This file is marked client-only.
What else does Sky Color Changer 2.0.0 need?
2.0.0. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Fabric API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Sky Color Changer add?
News: The Mod supports 26.2 now!
Main Description
This mod allows you to simply change the color of the sky and the color of the fog to any color you want!
This mod is designed to be easy to use, it all works with just one simple command!
Command examples
/skycol red
changes the sky color to red (255,0,0)
/skycol fog green
changes the fog color to green (0,255,0)
/skycol rgb 100 50 200
changes the sky color to rgb values 100,50,200 (lavender)
/skycol reset
resets the sky color to default vanilla color
Shader support
The mod doesn't have official shader support but it does have a best effort solution for iris that works with some shaders.
For example, complementary shaders supports the mod, BSL shaders doesn't.
If shaders are used, changing the fog color doesn't do anything. (at least with complementary)
Quick note
I am aware that there are mods that do similar things.
However, I haven't found a mod that does this on the latest Fabric versions (only Forge 26.1.2 or Fabric 1.21.11).
This mod is specifically designed to be simple to use and to work on the latest Fabric versions (like 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2).
I will most likely update the mod when a new Minecraft version is released.
