About this project

What does Aeronautic Additions and ChunkLoader add?

This is an addon mod for Create Aeronautics with some blocks and items I feel are missing from the main mod. I intend to update this with new stuff every once in a while when I have the time

Blocks and items added:

  • Aeronautic Chunk Loader: When placed on a Sable sublevel, this block will keep it and the surrounding chunks loaded. Dynamically calculates the size and adjusts the 'bubble' of loaded chunks according to the airship size. When placed outside of a Sable sublevel does nothing. Use on very fast moving aircraft is not recommended, as it may outpace the chunkloading and get stuck

Chunkloader crafting

  • Player Compass: A compass, which can be used by a player, binding it to them. After this, the compass will point towards that player's location or their last known location if they're offline. Compatible with aeronautics Navigation Tables
  • Directional Compass: A compass, which opens a UI, allowing the player to select a heading of their choice. The compass will always point in the selected direction. Compatible with aeronautics Navigation Tables

Planned additions in the future:

  • Chain links and winches that can transfer rotational power
  • Rope/chain quick attach/release connectors
