About this project
What does Fletchery Expanded add?
Fletchery Expanded completely reimagines Minecraft's archery by introducing a modular arrow crafting system. No longer are you stuck with boring vanilla arrows — now you can mix and match from 3 feather types, 6 shaft materials, 12 arrowhead variants, 15 item effects, and 13 lingering potion effects to create thousands of unique arrow combinations.
Crafting System – Use the Fletching Table to combine different components. Each part changes the arrow's behavior: feathers affect speed and gravity, shafts determine durability and special properties, tips alter damage and penetration, and effects add powerful magical abilities.
Feathers – Choose from classic Feather for balance, Phantom Membrane for increased speed, or Wheat for slower, gravity-affected shots that are perfect for short-range encounters.
Shafts – Pick the right foundation: Blaze Rods ignite targets on hit, Breeze Rods fly without gravity, Bones deal extra damage and cause hunger, End Rods boost damage even further, Fishing Rods pull entities toward you, and Chains bind multiple enemies together.
Tips – Select your arrowhead: Amethyst passes through leaves and glass, Prismarine ignores water physics, Echo Shards slow and deal bonus damage, Quartz blinds foes, Gold weakens enemies, Copper summons lightning, Shulker Shells levitate targets, and Iron, Diamond, Netherite, or Heavy Core add raw damage with unique scaling.
Item Effects – Infuse your arrows with 15 different effects: Gunpowder creates explosions, Glowstone Dust adds damage and glowing, Slime Balls make arrows bounce, Ender Pearls teleport you on impact, Blaze Powder ignites the ground, Turtle Helmets slow enemies, Dragon's Breath leaves a damaging cloud, Wind Charges deal knockback, Lapis Lazuli applies random effects, Fire Charges explode and set fire, Firework Stars and Rockets add extra damage with dazzling visuals.
Potion Effects – Turn your arrows into lingering potion arrows with all 13 vanilla effects: Speed, Slowness, Strength, Weakness, Healing, Harming, Poison, Regeneration, Fire Resistance, Night Vision, Invisibility, Leaping, and Slow Falling. Each potion effect can be combined with any feather, shaft, and tip, giving you tactical advantages in combat, exploration, or PvP.
Special thanks to 3odchiy for valuable ideas and assistance in the mod's development.
Endless Possibilities – Whether you're a casual builder exploring the world or a hardcore PvP player, Fletchery Expanded offers new strategies and playstyles for everyone. Experiment, discover, and master the art of fletching!
Note: This mod requires Fabric API and Fabric Loader. It is fully compatible with other mods and does not interfere with vanilla gameplay unless you choose to use its new tools.
