What does Click2Pick add?
Click 2 Pick
This is a super tiny mod that disables the auto-pick up behavior from minecraft in favor of a more immersive pick up system.It allows players to pick from the floor exactly the items they want by aiming at the item and right clicking it.
Not only this bumps up immersion but it also helps a lot with Minecraft´s biggest problem (For me): a clogged inventory.
This mod also disables the floating hovering dropped item, now items lay flat on the ground once dropped!
A simply tiny visual effect, no overly complicated physics!
Just right click any dropped item, the name of the item should appear above your crosshair:
Now, I understand sometimes you just doesn't have the time, for that I've made it so sneaking restores the auto pick up behavior:
