Quick answer
Which 3D Armor release should I use?
3D Armor 0.9.4.2 targets 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2 with Fabric, Forge, NeoForge. It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server. All 1 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is 3D Armor required on the client, server, or both?
It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server.
This file is marked client-only.
What else does 3D Armor 0.9.4.2 need?
0.9.4.2. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install [EMF] Entity Model Features first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does 3D Armor add?
![]()
This mod enables rendering of the player and entity equipped armor/elytra/harness in 3D and is compatible with most standard armor mods, dyes, and trims with support for 16x resource packs.
This project is still a beta stage so expect few visual bugs. Although extensive precautions were taken to prevent frame rate drops, performance may decrease in areas with many armored entities. This is due to the dynamic armor model which ensures compatibility across all armors, but comes at a slight performance cost even when using optimization mods.
