RotProxy

RotProxy is a client-side Fabric mod that routes Minecraft multiplayer connections through a configured SOCKS5, HTTP CONNECT or HTTPS proxy. The current release continues the same project on Minecraft Java 26.2 (rot-tools look, Fabric Loader 0.19.5+, Java 25). Older Fabric builds remain available for 1.21.10 and 1.21.11.

Features

• SOCKS5, HTTP CONNECT and HTTPS (TLS to the proxy) tunnels
• Quick-access button on the Multiplayer screen (RotProxy: Blocked / status)
• In-game settings: saved profiles, TEST, APPLY, DISABLE
• Fail-closed kill switch: multiplayer joins and server-list pings stay blocked until the proxy is healthy
• Heartbeat check every 15 seconds, with exit IP and probe latency
• Client-side only — do not install on a server

Install (Minecraft 26.2)

1. Minecraft Java 26.2, Java 25, Fabric Loader 0.19.5+
2. Fabric API for 26.2
3. Put rotproxy-1.2.2+mc26.2.jar in your instance mods folder and remove any older RotProxy JAR
4. Open Multiplayer → RotProxy. Enter host, port, protocol and optional credentials
5. TEST a draft, then APPLY. Wait for PROTECTED / CONNECTED before joining

TEST does not activate a profile. DISABLE keeps multiplayer blocked; it does not fall back to a direct connection. Singleplayer stays available.

Older versions

Use the matching JAR from this project’s Versions tab:

• 1.2.0+mc1.21.11 — Minecraft 1.21.11, Java 21, Fabric
• 1.2.0+mc1.21.10 — Minecraft 1.21.10, Java 21, Fabric

Notes

• Profiles are stored locally in config/rotproxy_profiles.json
• Release builds ship without live proxy credentials
• RotProxy is not a system VPN. It covers vanilla Minecraft server TCP connections and server-list pings. Auth, Realms HTTP, resource packs, LAN discovery and other mods’ network traffic are outside that coverage
