About this project

What does BuildsNBarrens add?

DISCLAIMER: This mod was made with MCreator; however, all, if not most, of the world generation is written by hand. This means there are very few incompatibilities, although some have been found with certain mods that also conflict with modded biomes, even from non-MCreator mods. Here be dragons!

This mod is based upon my older deleted mods and their content, along with my newer ideas, essentially a mishmash of random stuff.

Here's the deal, ever looked at a Minecraft biome or creature or just a general concept that felt... Empty? Barren even?
Yeah, well this mod will set out to fix that!

Most additions in BNB are references or blatant revisions to older or completely removed concepts in Minecraft, notable examples include:

  • Rose, Cyan Flower, and Paeonia
  • Nether Reactor Core
  • Petrified Oak
  • Structure Updates
  • The Literal Ton of Non-updated Textures
  • World Presets

The other third of additions are random ideas of mine from either current day or my oldest mods, like:

  • The Clayen (The first iteration of BNB)
  • The Boombush (ArtistryModResources)
  • HMMM... (ArtistryIdiocy, you won't get it... 🤠)
  • Zircon Plains (Arty's Nether Grieving)
  • CCChoric Fern (That one end mod I never sent out.)

This mod, like any of mine, has no set roadmap. additions are random and meant to be built on top of or scrapped altogether, nothing is set in stone.

If you want more details before installing the mod, feel free to browse the mod gallery that will update every few beta releases or check out my Discord for random, somewhat frequent development images and footage!
