About this project

What does e4all add?

Host Minecraft worlds for your friends. No port forwarding, no premium account required.

e4all is a fork of e4mc that lets you open your world to friends over the internet in seconds. It adds support for offline/cracked accounts to what e4mc offers, along with a few smaller additions. More small features are being worked on as well, check the changelogs for the full picture.

Features

  • Offline-mode support: toggle online-mode on or off, so cracked accounts can join too
  • Works exactly like vanilla LAN hosting: open your world, share a link, done

Supported versions

Loader Versions
Fabric 1.18.x to 26.2
Forge 1.18.x to 1.20.4
NeoForge 1.18.x to 26.2
Known incompatibilities:
  • Essential Mod

  • Krypton

  • Android players

In development

  • Android support: currently being worked on
  • Legacy version support: bringing support for older Minecraft versions directly into e4all, similar to what e4mc-retro offers for e4mc

FAQ

Does this need a dedicated server?
No. e4all works the same way as "Open to LAN," just tunneled over the internet through e4mc's relay.

Do I need a premium Minecraft account?
No. Offline/cracked accounts are fully supported. That's the whole reason e4all exists.

Is Android supported?
Not yet, but it's in active development. Right now e4all is tested and supported on Java-based launchers on desktop.

Does Simple Voice Chat work?

long summary

Not currently in 1.6.4. There was a 2.0.0 release earlier that supported 26.3-snapshot-9 and included SVC support, but I removed it. It'll be re-added soon with some constraints: it'll only work if both players have e4all installed, and only if their internet providers support P2P, since the feature will run over a direct P2P connection rather than through the relay servers. Those relays aren't mine, they belong to the e4mc dev, so I don't want to put extra load on them. P2P will probably work for most people, it will probably not work for people on a hotspot, people on school WIFI or any other WIFI with strict firewalls.

Building

Gradle is used to build e4all.

System requirements

  • Java JDK 17 minimum (JDK 21 recommended for building)
  • Git

Compiling from source

git clone https://github.com/Synquox/e4all
cd e4all/
./gradlew build

Since e4all is a multi-loader project, you'll find the compiled jars in each loader's own build folder, for example fabric/build/libs, forge/build/libs, and neoforge/build/libs.
