About this project

What does Box Client add?

Box Client

Box Client is a lightweight, client-side visuals and HUD mod for Minecraft 1.19.2 to 1.21.11. It adds a clean, fully customizable overlay and a big set of quality-of-life tools: a polished target and self HUD, your own player model on screen, combo and reach counters, a music widget, hit-range rings, block overlay, item physics, damage numbers, styled nametags, a custom crosshair and enchantment glint, freelook, FOV control, chat tools with mentions, a screenshot camera with an in-game gallery, time and weather control, performance options and more. Everything is configured from an in-game menu with a drag-and-drop HUD editor. Every module can be toggled, restyled, resized and moved, and your setup is saved to disk and shareable as a config code.

It is built for players who want a better-looking, more informative game without installing a dozen separate HUD and utility mods.

Open the menu with Right Shift. Click the logo to open the card menu, or drag any HUD module right there on screen.

Highlights

  • All-in-one: replaces many small HUD and utility mods with a single, consistent, themeable overlay.
  • Modern look: flat panels with soft shadows, accent lines and rounded corners; every module card has its own drawn icon. Every color (accent, backgrounds, text, ring, hitbox, glint, crosshair, overlay, hit tint, mentions) accepts any hex code or an animated Rainbow.
  • Per-module style: each HUD module has its own background, opacity, border, accent, text color, shadow, corners and scale.
  • HUD editor: press Right Shift and drag modules around; the corner grip resizes them.
  • Configs: save named profiles and share your whole setup as a text code. No server needed.
  • Lightweight: batched rendering, client-side only, no dependencies beyond Fabric API.
  • English and Spanish interface.

Features

HUD

  • Target HUD: when you look at a player you see their skin head, name, distance, an animated health bar and their equipment. It lingers two seconds after you look away.
  • Self HUD: your own head, health and gear.
  • Player model: your own character on screen, animated with everything you do. Size and rotation mode (Front, Follow, Spin).
  • Combo Counter: your current hit streak. Only hits that really land count; it resets when you get hit or after a set time.
  • Reach Display: the distance of your last landed hit, measured the way Minecraft does (eyes to hitbox).
  • Totem Counter: how many Totems of Undying you carry, with the totem icon.
  • Break Progress: percent and progress bar of the block you are mining.
  • Music Widget: what is playing on your PC (Spotify, browser, any media app on Windows) with title, artist, progress and time, plus play/pause, next and previous keys.
  • Keystrokes: WASD and mouse buttons with CPS, space and sneak.
  • Armor status: armor and held item with durability as a number or percent.
  • Potion HUD: active effects with icon, level and time.
  • Inventory HUD: horizontal or vertical layout.
  • Scoreboard: the server sidebar becomes movable, scalable and styled (background, colors, shadow, accent line, border) and you can hide the numbers.
  • Info chips: FPS, CPS, coordinates with compass, ping, server IP, clock (12 or 24 h), memory, session time and game time. Each chip is independent and movable.

Visuals

  • Hit range: a ring on the ground around every player showing the attack reach, colored by their health. It lights up and pulses when they are within your reach.
  • Target ring: a billboard ring on the player you look at, with eight shapes plus a Custom shape you draw yourself in a 64x64 pixel editor, gradient fill, size, thickness and up to four concentric repeats. Optional plasma pillars.
  • Hitbox Changer: draws the player hitbox with real thickness and a custom color. Purely cosmetic.
  • Block Overlay: your own outline for the block you look at: color, rainbow, real thickness, opacity and an optional translucent fill.
  • Item Physics: dropped items tumble in the air and lie flat on the ground.
  • Damage Numbers: floating damage and heal numbers over entities when their health changes, with custom colors and size.
  • Nametag Styling: player nametags with custom size, background color and opacity, text color, see-through-walls toggle and an optional health line.
  • Hit Color: recolor the red damage tint of entities with any color, rainbow and opacity.
  • Crosshair: draw your own crosshair in a 32x32 pixel editor, with color, rainbow and size. The attack indicator stays.
  • Custom Glint: Force Glint on any item, and tint the enchantment glint with presets, a free color, Rainbow and brightness.
  • Saturation: full-screen color saturation filter, from grayscale to extra vivid.
  • ViewModel: move, scale and stretch your held item in first person (mirrored for the offhand), with a Reset button.
  • Swing Animations: speed and amplitude of the first-person hand and item swing.
  • Freelook: hold a key to look around in third person while you keep walking in the same direction (hold or toggle mode).
  • FOV Control: your own FOV independent of the Minecraft option, with a static FOV option that removes sprint and speed changes.
  • Zoom (hold C), No Hurt Cam and Fullbright.

Chat

  • Chat Tools: timestamps on every message, chat history up to 5000 messages, keep the chat when switching servers, and a configurable fade time or never fade.
  • Chat Mentions: your name and custom keywords are highlighted in chat, with a sound, ignoring your own messages.

Utility

  • Screenshot Camera: F2 takes the screenshot without HUD and hand, with a flash, a shutter sound and a saved thumbnail; optional copy to clipboard.
  • Screenshot Gallery: browse your screenshots in game with thumbnails, open the folder or the file, copy to clipboard or delete.
  • Particle Manager: hide particle categories (crits, enchanted hits, damage indicators, block break, smoke, drips, explosions) and multiply hit particles up to x5.
  • Time control: lock the time of day (day, noon, sunset, night, midnight) with a smooth sky. Client-side only.
  • Ambient weather: realistic ambient particles (floating motes, falling snow, drifting ash) that keep working even with particles turned down.
  • Crit sound: replace the critical-hit sound with five custom satisfying sounds or mute it, with volume, pitch and instant preview.
  • Performance: entity render distance (players are always drawn), block entity render distance, particle cap, no rain or snow, hide armor stands.
  • Toggle Sprint and a global Theme accent color.

Requirements

  • Fabric Loader
  • Fabric API for your Minecraft version
