Yes, there are mods for these recipes, but I didn't found it in a single mod.
Because it's a recipe mod - I hope that it will be compatible with the game for a long time.

Use this mod in combination with Plentiful Tree Felling (https://mods.vintagestory.at/plentifultreefelling), and getting charcoal will be easier.
