About this project

What does Pure Strata add?

This mod removes (patches out) following rock types from rockstrata.json, stopping them from generating in the world:

  • Bauxite
  • Chalk
  • Chert
  • Sandstone
  • Claystone
  • Basalt (on surface, it should still generate as bottom rock)

 

It also removes the generation of following rock "deposits":

  • Marble (all types)
  • Obsidian

 

Additionally, it moves following rock types into "Sedimentary" group at the bottom of array (meaning they have the lowest priority during worldgen if I understand it correctly):

  • Andesite
  • Peridotite

 

Note: Due to removal of bauxite, it's highly recommended to play with a mod such as Bauxite Bottleneck Begone if you wish to be able to make steel.

 

This mod has been tested only briefly. Please let me know if you encounter any issues.
