About this project

What does Fish Jenga add?

Fish Jenga!

Ever been driven to curiosity about the various storage oppurtunities for fish and fish-like creatures?
If so, then surely you must have come across the most wonderful method of handling fish storage: Jenga.

This mod adds the ability to stack the various fish added by the wonderful Primitive Survival by SpearAndFang for whatever purposes you so desire them.

In addition adds a simple recipe for making Grass Stuffed variants of all the fish, removing their nutrional purposes but allowing them to be stacked without fear of rotting.

Requires Primitive Survival
^That should go without saying, mod will not load without it. Built for Version 3.2.8 of Primitive and 1.18.10+ of Vintage and are listed as the versions dependant, if you need it for earlier versions of the game/Primitive, let me know and ill make it way more robust with versioning.

Note:
- Fish in jenga stacks still can rot if not Grass Stuffed, this will make it eventually become a stack of rot which there is no stacking model for, causing the stack to become invisible on a block update such as falling due to gravity. If it still shows fish but is actually rot you can take out the rot like a normal stack, if its invisible you may have to manually break the stack block. I have thought far longer than I should have for a fish jenga mod on ways to fix it and all are just a bit beyond the scope of it - even making proper pileable rot like charcoal piles (may be coming to a moddb near you soon) but making them dynamically transform into those cleanly is a good bit of work/thinking to be had. Mayhaps one day.
- Due to the high element count of the fish, stacks temporarily can become invisible as you add fish to them, just updating the stack by adding/removing another fish or placing a block adjacent, etc... fixes it
