NinasPatches

This is just some tweaks for my server. Currently it only changes stack size on Expanded matter, and meat/fat values for most animals. Expanded matter changes: Crushed ore and Crushed metal -> 256. This does change how much is held in the bloomery. R.meats: I

Quick answer

Which NinasPatches release should I use?

Updated 1 year ago

Loader Built-in Vintage Story mod system

NinasPatches 0.1.0 targets 1.20.7. It must be installed on the client. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. 1 required mod needs a matching file.

Where it goes

Is NinasPatches required on the client, server, or both?

It must be installed on the client. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.

Client Required
Dedicated server Optional
Loader for this release Built-in Vintage Story mod system
Required install it here Optional supported, not mandatory Not supported do not install here Source doesn’t say do not assume

This release supports both sides, but the source does not require it on the server.

What else does NinasPatches 0.1.0 need?

0.1.0. Change the file and its required mods may change too.

1 required mod needs a matching file

We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project

What does NinasPatches add?

This is just some tweaks for my server. Currently it only changes stack size on Expanded matter, and meat/fat values for most animals.
Expanded matter changes:
Crushed ore and Crushed metal -> 256.
This does change how much is held in the bloomery.

R.meats:
I ended up removing the mod from our server and am slowly figuring out what values feel a bit more fair than vanilla. I dont want our players having to hunt ALL the time, but i dont want 1 moose to get you through the entire winter either. to explain: i used similar values to the origional mod as a basis and will probably be editing these around as I go.

Likely more changes to come soon as I keep testing what works on our server.

meat/fat changes:

Spoiler!
Bear: 124 meat /30-fat
Chicken: 12 meat /1-2 fat
Fox: 10 meat / 2 fat
Gazelle: 40 meat / 8 fat
Hare: 8 meat / 2 fat
Deer: 60 meat / 10 fat
Elk: 110 meat / 26 fat (ideally we arent killing the tamed ones, so i left this value as the other mod had it)
goat: 20 meat / 12 fat
moose: 120 meat / 12 fat (Kept this high to because they are harder to kill, like bears.)
Hyena: 20 meat / 6 fat
pig: 40 meat / 18 fat
racoon: 8 meat / 1 fat
Sheep: 40 meat / 10 fat
wolf: 30 meat / 8 fat.
